Religion Class

So right now I am currently in my religion class where we are encouraged to have our laptops to follow along on the webpage, but in all honesty we end up playing around online rather than paying attention. I tend to check my mail, facebook, and google random things instead of looking at the history of the church as I should be. Whoops. Right now our Professor recruited a drama major to read the beginning prologue of Chaucer's Canterbury Tales and I am happy to say Megan and I dodged a bullet by hiding behind our laptops. Poor Lorraine was not as lucky.

As I sip my Caramel Apple Spice from Starbucks (FINALLY a hot drink I can stand) I wonder if I should be taking notes.

Nah....

Mondays are really long. I mean really long. I have class from 12:30-4:30 non stop then go to theatre lab or work until 6. Usually I have a small break for dinner then rehearsal and then at long last I can go home! Tonight's rehearsal is 9pm-11:30pm unfortunately so I might be hanging around campus until then, it might not be worth going home...? We'll see.

What is the point of this random blog entry? In all honesty....

So I've been kind of a bum lately with this online journal thing. Surprise surprise.

Well, since my last update I am off crutches, thank the Lord, but I still keep my leg wrapped when I walk anywhere. I am paranoid about it getting to the brink of pain it was before again so I am willing to do this for as long as necessary. Besides it keeps my shin warm. :P

I am currently rehearsing with Frogz an adaptation of the play by Aristophanes. I play a woman for once, the maid of Persephone, and Pluto (yes the Lord of the Underworld!). Playing a woman is a strech for me as most of the shows I have been in at CUA, for whatever reason, I have been cast as a man. But go figure this woman character is a total whore (or "freaky" as Jay referred to her as). Frogz is farce, so everything is way to the extreme, so my first reading of a slightly slutty character to rehearsing literally on my knees has me blushing. I am going way out of the comfort zone here but I am working through it. Hooray for acting.
PS...my mom might come see the show. My dad and godfather are officially banned.

What else is going on? I am failing math for dummies (aka Intro to Mathematical Thought) becuase we only have 3 tests and our final and I got a D on the first test and a C-/D on the second. I do all my homework and I try but I literally draw blank when it comes to taking the test. Which stinks. I have one more test before the final so I am really hoping I can pull my grade up before the end of the year. Or I have to drop it I guess. I don't know. What's worse, a D or a W??

I am a bit worried about living situation for next year already. Megan and Angelyn are most likely getting an apartment in Silver Spring together, DeiTos is staying on campus with her current room mates, no one wants to live in the Towers, and 2 of my room mates are graduating and one is moving out next year. I do not want to live here with three strangers so I am really at a loss for what to do :( I know I have a lot of time to really worry about this but it is in the air.

Blah its 1am. I need to go to bed and stop whining.
